Laslett John Pott
The illustrator and genre painter Laslett John Pott (1837-1898) was born in Newark, Notts, and he studied art with Alexander Johnston. He was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Academy. Pott exhibited at the Baillie Gallery; Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; and the Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery.
